Finally, a layout

Yep, still crafting away. Tropical Storm Lee has made his impact, but finally the sun is starting to appear. Meanwhile, I have been playing with my cricut for two days. I finally decided to make something other than a card. Can you believe it? I made this scrapbook layout hoping to enter it into a challenge, but I have to wait to be approved. Meanwhile, take a look and tell me what you think. I am really diggin' my Campin' Critters cartridge. Hope you enjoy.

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette #25

My next card was designed for the Pretty Pallete #25 challenge. I love the challenges that give you a color combination. It takes most of the guess work out of it. Hope you enjoy

My oldest daughter wanted a personalized composition notebook, so I took advantage of the Critter Sketch Challenge this week and decorated her notebook. Here is the sketch we were to follow in our design.

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #28

A quick sentiment card to enter into the Celebrate the occasion challenge. I really enjoyed this project. My card is so feminie looking compared to the other cards I have made recently. Hope you enjoy.

Celebrate the Occasion Challenge #28

I was just looking over this post and realized the paper that I used says cheap love nest. Hahaha. It is a bird themed pack of paper and I did cut the love birds off. That is too funny!

Can I have Smores?

Here is a fun little card I decided to do for the Just Us Girls 100th Challenge and the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge: a splash of colour. I used the Camping Critters cartridge for this one. I think he came out so cute. Hope you enjoy. (Sorry Cricut Cardz Challenge #90, I didn't realize until after I posted this that I had to use a card feature, so this one does not qualify)

CRICUT 360ยบ - Challenge # 10 - Grandparents

I have had the pleasure of sitting in my craftroom all morning, thanks to Tropical Storm Lee. Our weekend is pretty much a washout. We are anticipating a lot of rain. This is just one of the many perks of living in South Louisiana. My family and I took a quick trip to Hobby Lobby last night to stock up on paper and things since we will be staying indoors most of the weekend. I recently purchased the Nifty Fifties Cartridge but hadn't had a chance until now. When I saw the Cricut 360 challenge, I thought this would be perfect. My mother has been working on a mural in a friends restaurant - The 50s Diner - and it inspired a few cards. I will be linking one to the challenge cause it just fits. Hope you enjoy. In honor of my children's grandparents.......
Mom's mural on Day 3. I can't wait to see the final result.

Mallory is feeling the "BUG"

My youngest daughter, Mallory,  has managed to confiscate yet another notebook that she has dedicated to her artwork. But, before it could be official, she wanted it decorated. I just got the Nifty Fifties cartridge in the mail but hadn't had a chance to use it yet so I dove in. Mallory loved the rocket ship the moment she saw it. It was a quick job, but came out so cute. Hope you enjoy.
